About the Hearing Clinic in Coubourg

Our clinic in Coubourg is a provider of excellent hearing care customer service. We offer free hearing evaluations, consultations, wax removal, and counseling on hearing loss.

Being in a small town, most of our business comes from word of mouth. We are a friendly, kind and welcoming hearing service provider. We are always happy to answer any questions you might have!

Andrea Cavanaugh

Co-Owner
Andrea Cavanaugh has over 18 years experience working in the hearing healthcare industry.

She started as an Administrative Assistant and loved this industry so much she decided to become a Hearing Instrument Practitioner through Grant MacEwan College and worked hard to receive her diploma in 2008.

She then went on to complete the Association of Hearing Instrument Practitioners of Ontario required internship and was able to successfully receive the international licensing requirements to become a Hearing Instrument Specialist in 2010. She worked for Northumberland Hearing Centres until it sold in 2015 and became Hear Right Canada. In 2021, she became a Co-Owner of Hear Right Canada, downtown Cobourg location. She was born and raised in Cobourg, Ontario. Along with her husband, she is now raising her family in this wonderful community. They are a hockey loving family with many adorable pets. Her passion is working with people and providing excellent care for her clients and all of their hearing healthcare needs.
Riana Virgoe

Riana Virgoe received her Hearing Instrument Practitioner diploma from George Brown College on the Dean’s Honour List in 2014.

She then moved to British Columbia to start her internship placement at the Costco Hearing Aid Centre in Prince George in January 2014. Upon completing her very successful placement, she was able to become a full-time Hearing Instrument Practitioner. During her time in B.C., she completed the required internship and was able to receive the international licensing requirements to become a Hearing Instrument Specialist. In May 2015, Riana moved back to Ontario and started with us at Hear Right Canada in Cobourg as a Hearing Instrument Specialist. In 2021, she became a Co-Owner of Hear Right Canada, downtown Cobourg location. She now lives in the Hastings area with her husband, young son and dog. She prides herself in her excellent customer service skills, and providing high quality care for each and every client.
Amanda Wilson

Administrative Lead/Hearing Consultant
Amanda Wilson completed her post secondary education as a Veterinarian Assistant at Durham College and received her diploma in 2010.

She worked for 10 years in veterinary medicine. Her passion for working with the public and in customer service roles led her to a career change into the hearing healthcare industry. She started with Hear Right Canada in 2019 as the Administrative Lead/Hearing Consultant.

Upon starting with the company, her knowledge, determination, and her attention to detail has greatly improved the day-to-day operations and has increased productivity. Amanda is dedicated to exceptional customer service, client satisfaction and team communication. Her advanced skills have led her into the training role of new hires and to assist other clinics with their accounts receivables, billing and much more.
She was born and raised in Toronto, but now resides in the Port Hope area with her fiancé.
