About the Hearing Clinic in Elora

Seton hearing clinic exterior

Here in Elora, our number one priority is our patients, and making sure they are comfortable in a relaxed environment.

We ensure that talking about hearing loss and hearing aids isn’t a scary topic and they don’t have to break the bank either. We conduct full hearing evaluations and use these results to determine which type of hearing aid would be best for you. From there we discuss your lifestyle, budget and preferences (such as Bluetooth and rechargeability functions) and go forward with what YOU are comfortable with.

We offer free trials where you can take home the hearing aids and wear them in the situations you have the most troubles with, which is a great way to see the benefit before purchasing. If you have mobility issues or live in a retirement home, we can come directly to you as all of our equipment is portable.

All adjustments, hearing aid cleanings, consultations and We also offer earwax removal, if you struggle with regular buildup.

How our clinic can help you:
  • Hearing aids, full hearing evaluation and report,
  • Care and maintenance of your hearing instruments
  • Cerumen (wax) management
  • Insurance and service provider
  • In-home care
The first step would be to book a FREE hearing test.
Karissa Schiestel

Karissa Schiestel

Hearing Instrument Specialist/Co-Owner
Karissa began her Hearing Healthcare journey in highschool where she completed a co-op at a hearing clinic. She knew right away that was her passion and pursued it by completing the Hearing Instrument Specialist program at Conestoga College. During her co-op at Conestoga she worked for an ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist), where she was faced with abnormal hearing losses and problem solving to help each patient. From there she began her internship hours at Hear Right Canada in Caledonia and continued on working there for a few years. Karissa was offered an amazing opportunity to Co-Own a hearing clinic in Elora, where she would be close to family and create a home. This was always a dream of hers. The Elora location has been operating now since 2019 and is growing each and everyday as our patients have become part of our Hear Right Canada family.
Jessica Gracey Gellner

Jessica Gracey Gellner

Hearing Instrument Dispenser
Jessica began her Hearing Healthcare journey also in highschool where she completed volunteer experience at 2 different clinics. This gave her a perspective of how different clinics function. She started out her post-secondary education at Brock University for her Bachelor of Science in Hearing Sciences. She got into this field because of her dad and his struggles with hearing loss. Growing up she learned a lot about his frustrations and wanted to help people in similar situations. She then moved on to the Hearing Instrument Specialist program at Conestoga College. Jessica completed her co-op hours with Karissa in Elora and fit into the family so well. She loves the atmosphere and philosophy of Hear Right and we are delighted that she is hired on to complete her internship hours here.
